Welcome to Visible Platform's newsletter, The Platform.

This newsletter was created because we’re a small and dynamic startup, constantly evolving and updating our response to harassment on public transport.

When we founded Visible Platform, we only covered the London Underground and our form was a little bit too long, considering we wanted to create something super quick and easy to use.

Since then, we have expanded to cover a range of cities in the UK. We have updated our form and now it only takes 3 minutes to share your story. This was important to us because we know when harassment happens, you often just want to move on with your day. Taking the burden off your shoulders is core to our mission.

We have also been endorsed by the British Transport Police because they know the data we’re collecting is important, and we are the only organisation to put the stories of those who actually experienced the harassment first.

A lot can happen in a short time when you’re a startup, and we wanted to keep our supporters in the loop with all these exciting developments. We are also inspired by open organisations, who share their strategic development widely for other to learn from. This newsletter is an important step in us being an open organisation as well.
